Stale are these memoir's eyes To recall when I first caught your light Now a white noise drapes your colored frame It's fleeting harsh, and black as rain To forage back upon fables grand Recall just once where I held your hand Now remembering falls cold as death Nothing but dust: time's ancient breath. [chorus] Oh my writhed, forgotten dear Mountains of life; Oceans of years Could I would, with joyful cheers Give all my cries for all your tears Sparks in the dark are distant chimes Recalling you so close to mine Now dreams abound hold no turmoil While by your side, in mortal coil [chorus] Oh my lost, forsaken dear Bound by earth's decaying gears Could I would, with frightful leers Trade all my cries for all your tears O' Holy Lord, please come and Put to sleep this breaking heart How I wish for once to rise And gaze on you again; To see your dawn [chorus] Oh my one, eternal dear Of decrepit, dissolving meres Could I would, with hopes and fears Kill all my cries for all your tears For all your tears... For all your tears...

So Far Under 04:26
Rant, and rave, and toil, and scream Been thinking about you well beyond my dreams Looking back again to our sequel greet That started up surprises on these dismal streets Head to toe in black; you're a lovely scene Looking like a goddess from a magazine Heavy, hearty night surely starting fine Tasty sample tray with a glass of wine Could she be the one? Is it really true? Stand so close to you, while we're tapping shoes Caught you once before in a friendly fade Meet you one time more past that masquerade Darkened room displayed in a lighted stream That showers upon you in red & blue & green Seems these other mothas haven't got a clue Is this all for real? And I can't believe it's you! Possibly or maybe and it's rightly so We contemplate our action with a mature flow All around us lightly dimming harder heats Feel our hearts a-pumping while stature depletes Fairly or uncertain is the cosmic beat Your silence when unspoken is a dismal treat Even more delightful in between the bars We’re heading in for outcome, as we're counting stars, again [chorus] With those eyes so bright, wild hair pinned tight I have viewed with might, your dance to mystic thunder Were our feelings right? Now an endless trite One of many nights, where we're so far under How I spotted you, as the brimming grew You have felt it too, and it's all a wonder Were it stay-home plights, or at outing sites Always doomed to spite; cause as we so far under [chorus] Eyes a gleaming floe, looking to and fro Through the jokes we stow, our innuendos plunder Observation keen, corner pupils seen We will stride unclean, when it's so far under With those moves offhand, You're a wonderland And your beauty's grand, with your lightened umber As we're spinning round, to that grinding sound Saints become unwound, to be so far under [chorus] I have played a fool, selfishly uncool Adding to the fuel, now it's all a blunder With a thriller chill, and a trickster skill Cautiously will spill, ever so far under Anytime of day, in that rainbow gray Should we kneel and pray, as we're torn asunder Sour as it seems, live it all in dreams Where your sunshine beams, never so far under

As I greeted you with shaking hands I couldn’t quite believe; as if I've been deceived With a tally up over your shroud Your feet so sorely ground Your head above the clouds Now the verbs and vowels are shuttered down From that life; the clown Holding a sinner’s crown And it frightens me, to grieve these deeds Nor to ever leave just how it came to be But now the loosening to hold From your soporific glow This time has called to dissolve All deep attraction in my soul Just as a stone to throw I'll gravely let you go And to that blackened sea Will falsely set you free [chorus] On the written words we shared that day Knowing the cost was weighed It's just the price we paid To that wicked dream I tried to cling And though for naught it'd bring I'd give you everything I would give another go to show But now that ribbon's cut And every portal shut Forging on the fool's play wasn't wise Yet such a kingly prize; Those eyes I've rhapsodized But now the truth has been unscrolled From from the depths of the untold Setting secrets all afire In a height so long desired As a winged man to the sun Who thought that his flight had you won And from his fateful claim Now ever falls aflame All out heartache, you're adored; But such a shock to weep in horror, as One and two and three and four My heaven's gate was at hell's door [chorus] On the written words we shared that day Knowing the cost was weighed It's just the price we paid To that wicked dream I tried to cling And though for naught it'd bring I'd give you everything

Roaming fast, beauty sites Flooring past traffic lights Dark of night, nearing rest Watch air rise in your chest Rhythm on, tension low Yet the blood boils so Summer nights, winter frights Lonesome mind; wrong is right None to give, all to hide Leave me be by your side Feel the breeze, haunting blue Like a ghost blowing through Nothing told, nothing knew Like some old black voodoo Something’s false, something’s true I’ll drive you home: But never for you! Roundabout, silent prose Twilit trees cast shadows Colored garbs, build suspense Perfume grasps, like incense Feeling down from our space Locked beside given grace Thoughts abound, tempter’s song Telling me: right is wrong Hold me close, hold me tight Free from grief and its might Please don’t speak; please don’t start Nod it so, cross my heart Once again, offered so Just to be near your flow Something’s warped, tried and true I’ll take you home: But never for you! [chorus] Never for you! I do not not want this hour to end Euphoric senses take the mend If we could extend the pretend I feel as though I will ascend My heart melts with the time we spend This car-wreck trite is my godsend If I can do what I intend I hope to bring you home again

Sailing on these open seas A sidekick beside mortal grief That captain steering hard; not letting go Upon the waves of what we reap In brine as shallow as the deep With nothing left upon this scow to show A sudden shock of sheer surprise The shoreline of your broken eyes Came echoing across these wooden bows While suffering your sweetened spice And dipping into blood-stained vice I discard all those ancient worded vows [chorus] Oh, the fantasy You're everything I fancied To construe Oh, the fallacy it molds Yet sigh me one more call And I'll swim out to you Mastering those moves with art And letting all else fall apart I realign the stars and set the course I'll travel tides through icy snow And beeline for that summer glow Unto those ray's own operatic source Though plunging on this drive is hard Your carols furl my heart to scarred And turn all focus to your body's spin Your charm therein, hair's wavy win Your smirkish, soft sea lion grin I'll count up every goosebump on your skin [chorus] Oh, the majesty Your shimmers far beyond The dark broke through Oh, the tragedy it holds Yet sing me one more song And I'll sink down to you As Ahab set with spearheads marked On hauntings which were surely sparked I wish mine wasn't mustered off a whim Our tale is told, big as a whale Though looking now, is null in scale And cautioned; had I only learnt to swim

Laurels 05:34
Would you ever hound Upon that solemn ground On which we lain about And you are so forthright And you are out of sight When you are silent as a drought Your dresses so confirm Yet timing so short-term Flash reasons to conceive Though buried far below In black soil's deepest stow I reckon to believe [chorus] You're dancing on the laurels Dancing on the laurels How is it you peruse A stunning chartreuse muse My fancy taken in Our speaking terms endear With nothing else to hear And dead air for the win And while I'm watching you Across that pale room Instead of vivid screen Sarcasm running fowl The retorts you have crowned And though you are the queen [chorus] You're dancing on the laurels Dancing on the laurels Turning wise, turning straight Even though I still pray That you're are dancing on this grave And though hoping your life Greets a brand new day I don't want you to turn away
9.
As these years trickle on Underneath a different sky A yearning so deep and scarred it seems Was all so wrong and nigh It’s not hard to see that I Have fallen in my reprobate mind [chorus] Come on along, shall we remove All of these words, brewed to undue Always dark thoughts, eternally shrewd Though which proclaims my love for you Forget past travesties Long bleary and overrun For any chance that I had left Died under that crimson sun I hear your bed of flowers Is nice this time of year [chorus] Along...
10.
All this time demonstrates Pain never dissipates Just let go. Let it die Drop the ball. Cauterize And as this specter wind howls & moans; Would I have such virtue, dear, To up and leave your bones? [chorus] Every moment, I need the strength Every moment, harder with length Every moment, in silent prayer Every moment, you're everywhere Sense it pound, Boldly scold Keep it far, from sin's hold Let it slip, whispered right Lock it in, from the blight And as these turquoise clouds gust abound; Will I have such courage, dear, To stand and hold my ground? [chorus] Every moment, I try to leave Every moment, my will's bereaved Every moment, try to restart Every moment, you clutch my heart

about

My eighth solo album release, Upyr.

Initially, this album was inspired by the kickstarter, 1000 Year Old Vampire, which be found here: www.kickstarter.com/projects/timh/thousand-year-old-vampire-a-roleplaying-game

The original theme for the album was to be that of a dungeon synth style soundtrack, for any game which I would have played with Tim Hutchings' creation. From there, the album somewhat branched out into a wild, haunting beast of its own. The concept still remained the same to its founding, however with a bit more of a kick.

The album has a theme, which is based on regret and remorse; to the death and/or loss of love, through the slow pains of time, or from life's relentless and unyielding tribulations.

The album itself was mixed and mastered in a different style, as I wanted sort of a "sweet & sour" tone to it. So, I combined the smooth bassy sounds of Daniela's mixing with my own raw, clear synth tracks. I then muddled together Jake's deep and crunchy mastering and leveled it off with my own original raw and high pitched takes on the tracks.

When sending them all through a pre-programmed mastering engine what came out was a sandwich tone of clear and crisper synth sound, you would hear in darkwave, along with the muddy and distant mixture that you would get with old doom metal tracks. Though, this album seems to be neither of each. I hope you enjoy.

PLEASE NOTE: This album is actually two versions. The CD and digital download album are slightly different from one another. The CD was equalized and leveled (even somewhat slightly mastered) differently, as it was made primarily for listening to, while wearing big, bulky headphones. You can still play the CD on a normal player/speakers, but the sound will be a little off, from the digital release, which can be listened to with more clarity. So be warned, the CD may be a little more treble-sounding. Take note of this before buying a CD.

Be sure to gather up the four FREE releases, in relation to Upyr.
